#i3 Story 1 : From the verge of being drop out to being SU"RAJ"..!!

Rejections started early in his life. He was rejected by music teacher to teach him music because he was 4 yrs. That’s when his dad took an initiative to learn music himself just to teach his son.!! Dad was a super hero for him & his two elder sisters who also went on to do masters & PhD in music. As a kid, he was fortunate enough to have given performances alongside legend like Late.Raju Ananthaswamy. As a growing kid, he was inspired by RSS (Rastriya Seva Sangha) to do a lot for the nation.

Having learnt to play 9-10 different musical instruments by the age of 20,it was a regular affair for him to be a part of musical shows throughout South India. Fear of being dropped out from regular academics on one side to the excitement of being multi-tasked musician on the other side along side had a dream pursuing his masters & setting up his school were on his mind too. Having been all these, his eyes were in search of a platform that can actually show him a path to become  a LEADER.

He understood the importance of having a platform & mentors in life. He dint hesitate to cancel two of his musical shows in Pune to be a part of "i3" platform. First few weeks he was a silent observer. It was after the fifth conference, getting inspired by Mr.Ashok Shankar Rathod , he kick started his projects in a massive way. Numerous projects were executed to reach out to thousands & thousands of underprivileged people. He was featured in regional news channel - Public TV. On the other side, his father wasn't aware of all these. His father thought his son has got spoilt & hence reaches home late night. They couldn't speak to each other for 6 weeks.

The most memorable moment of his life happened in final felicitation conference where  he never expected his family to be there. His  MJ dance performance was a shocker for his dad as his dad always hated western dance. Crowd is thrilled on one side & dad was boiling on the other side. One by one , delegates were called on stage to facilitate & his name wasn't called till the end. His father looked at him which had a meaning that told "you are fit for nothing".

5 names of True IUITES were to be announced. Heartbeats raised to peaks. His hands went cold. First name , second name, third name....nothing seemed to be his name. He stopped looking at his father who was next to him bcoz he lacked courage to face him. Voice that came out of mike sounded the name 'SURAJ'. He ran on to stage from in b/w the roars of the crowd and from stage he mustered enough courage to see his dad's eye from the top. His Dad's eyes were controlling to hold the tears that spoke "I know you are my son & am proud of having given you birth". Dad couldn't control his tears and he went behind everyone in the crowd to see the glory of his son. Entire family of his was invited to come on stage to receive True IUITE certificate from International Speaker & Serial Entrepreneur Mr.Sujit Lalwani.  Only 5 from the entire Bangalore were awarded with True IUITES position. Suraj is one of them. He is currently pursuing his dream & on his achieve many more things in life.

Hundreds of students in Bangalore are dreaming & working hard to see their parents' eyes to be filled with happiest tears.

 I wish to see your parents' also get such happiness every now & then.....

The Sales Man!! A small story of a Big sale....

A keen immigrant Indian lad applied for a salesman's job at London 's Premier downtown department store. In fact, it was the biggest store in the world - you could get anything there. The boss asked him, "Have you ever been a salesman before?" "Yes sir, I was  a salesman in India ", replied the lad. The boss liked the cut of him and  said, "You can start tomorrow and I'll come and see you." The da y was long and arduous for the young man, but he got through it. And finally 6:00 PM came around. Use things and LOVE people(and not vise versa)!!

Almost after 15 days of deciding to write a blog,i was haunting for a topic to write on. God sent me a topic in (an unexpected place) traffic signal of south-end circle here in Bengaluru. A slight friction of my vehicle with the auto-rickshaw,ignited me to come up with this topic.       Ayeee... was voice that came out of the larynx of auto driver. My apology made him calm down but made me go deep into my thoughts that why does this happen? Why do ppl get aggressive or over expressive with the materialistic things that they have? The root cause is bcoz majority of us love things more than we love the people around.         It so happens that after spending some time with some things, we start finding a life in that.
